What is the Trezor® Wallet?
The Trezor® Wallet is a category-leading hardware wallet designed to store cryptocurrency private keys offline. A Trezor® Hardware Wallet isolates your seed and private keys from internet-connected devices so signing transactions happens in a secure environment. To begin, visit the official start page at trezor.io/start.
Core components you’ll use
- Trezor® Suite — the desktop/web app to manage accounts and sign transactions. (Download/launch from the official Suite portal.)
- Trezor® Suite App — available as a desktop and web experience: use it at the Suite URL or download the app for your OS.
- Trezor® Bridge — a local helper that allows browsers to connect to your Trezor® device. Install from trezor.io/bridge.
Quick setup (starter steps)
- Go to trezor.io/start and follow the guided wizard.
- Install Trezor® Bridge if your browser needs it: trezor.io/bridge.
- Open Trezor® Suite and connect your device to initialize, choose a new seed or restore from recovery.
Troubleshooting common login & connection issues
Many connection issues are resolved by these checks:
- Confirm Trezor® Bridge is installed and running. Reinstall from trezor.io/bridge if necessary.
- Try a different USB cable or port — charge-only cables will not work.
- Use the official Trezor® Suite (avoid third-party apps until you confirm the device works).
- If you see “Trezor® Login not working” or “Error connecting Trezor® Account”, restart your browser and computer, then retry.
Recovery & security
If you're Unable to login to Trezor® because the device was reset or lost, you can restore accounts with your 12/18/24-word recovery seed using Trezor® Suite. Never share seed words — restore only on a device you fully control. For step-by-step help, consult the Trezor® Help Center at trezor.io/support.
Advanced help topics
- Trezor® 2FA reset: Trezor® itself does not provide universal 2FA reset for external services; use account recovery workflows of the service you’re accessing and protect 2FA with your seed.
- Trezor® Suite App not Working / Can’t verify Trezor® Wallet: clear Suite cache, validate device fingerprint on-screen and ensure firmware is up to date via Suite.
